Swannay Brewery

Located on the north west tip of Orkney’s mainland, Swannay, the dream started for Rob Hill in 2003.  He bought a rustic farmstead, some second hand kit and started brewing.  Rob with 25 years of brewing experience, did everything himself; brewing, delivering, accounting.  However, things got interesting when his son returned from university and expressed an interest to join the team.  

Brewing beers influenced by the swirling sea and lush fertile land, their style is traditional with modern twists, complex beers that are totally moorish.
